Dear Citizens,

After almost two years of gap, Ministry of Women’s Affairs has the great pleasure to resume operating its official website to raise public awareness about the activities of its central and provincial offices as well as its government and non-government partners.

Ministry of Women’s Affairs as the only governmental policy making organization coordinates, leads, monitors and controls the activities of governmental organizations and national and international NGOs that work and serve the Afghan women and girls.

MOWA is the only governmental organization that prepares short-term and long-term Action Plan, Strategies and Policies to improve the living conditions of women from legal, economical, educational and Health dimensions. Not only MOWA implements these plans and strategies, but it also acts as a catalyst for other ministries and governmental organizations to work on woman issues. more...
